This is a real story from one of our followers on her low-dosing cannabis journey.
I’m a divorced mom of a special needs boy and work full time. Even with a healthy diet and consistent exercise, life for me can be hard to deal with.
There have been periods in my life when I needed to deal with my anxiety and mild depression with pharmaceuticals. My doctor prescribed me Zoloft to deal with getting through some particularly difficult times, but I knew that it was never going to be a forever solution. Eventually, I slowly weened off of Zoloft, which had lingering and severe side effects, such as severe depression, that I’ve never experienced before.
I had never thought of cannabis as a healthy way to ease anxiety. Even living in marijuana-friendly NorCal, I had never heard of low-dosing. I had always thought of marijuana as the gateway drug to harder drugs or for people wanting to escape from reality. I had a poor perception of recreational marijuana users. That all changed when I met Kristie.
Kristie introduced me to the world of low-dose cannabis use over two years ago. I have to say that I was skeptical at first. But Kristie presented the use of low dosing in a way that was aligned to my lifestyle.
By using cannabis in low doses, I’m able to do all that I need to do without the heaviness of anxiety that I can sometimes experience, but without ANY side effects or feeling drugged.
I now tell others similar to myself who I feel would benefit from low dosing. Like myself, they have been skeptical at first, but I introduce them to Rebalan and products that I enjoy, like the Kiva mints. My friends know me. They know I’m not a “druggie” and that I don’t even drink alcohol because I need to feel in control. With low dosing, I feel in control of my life at all times with no side effects.
