Oh Happy Apple, can you please start distributing in California? On recent trip to Seattle, I was excited to find a low-dosing beverage. At 10mg of THC per bottle, a low dose serving is only half the bottle. Not much of a thirst quench, but a nice sipping beverage and a great alternative to alcohol for a recreational event or even an evening beverage. I’m not a big fan of soda, but I have been known to enjoy a sparkling wine or cider and I think this is a fantastic replacement to drinking alcohol at an event where you want to be social but not necessary have your typical EANAB (equally attractive non-alcoholic beverage). The price point on this makes it a special-occasion drink but one I still wholeheartedly recommend. Split it with a friend and have a great night out! Remember, as with edibles, cannabis-infused beverages can also take up to 2-3 hours to reach their full effect. Tarukino, the manufacturers of Happy Apple, claim to be using a new processing method that uses water-soluable cannabis liquids, making the cannabis more “bio available.” Time and research (enabled by full federal decriminalization will give us more data on that) but in this girl’s rudimentary experiment, it still took awhile to get the full effect.
